For those of you who have been following along since the beginning and for those who know me personally, you know that I recently made the move to Seattle, Washington! I've officially lived here for over a month and I'm absolutely loving it. The scenery, fall leaves, and Seattle city-life nearby have all been more than amazing.
While I will always consider Florida to be home, there is something spectacular about driving through town and seeing Mount Rainier looming in the distance. We're renting a house near Puget Sound so water is only a 2 minute drive away from us which has helped make the transition of moving much easier.
I highly recommend visiting Washington or Seattle if you have the chance! Seattle is filled with shops, food, gorgeous views and just about everything else you could think of. The very first Starbucks was opened next to Pike Place market which is a cool place to visit if you're a Starbucks lover. Also, the first Nordstrom was opened in Seattle so the department store is absolutely massive! Besides big brand names, there are countless small businesses and farmers to buy from when walking through Pike Place or downtown. I highly recommend taking the day to walk, eat, and shop your way through the city. (If you have any questions about the city, feel free to leave us a comment.)
Besides getting to explore the city and the coast of Puget Sound, I have been so happy to get back into the studio! My sewing studio (where all of your bikinis are made) is the extra bedroom we have in our house so the past few weeks have consisted of settling in, organizing, and shipping out orders that were placed during our move.
I'm excited to be releasing some new designs by January 2019. These are designs I have been working on since this summer! It's important to me that the design and fit is just right so it's taken some time to perfect each of these new tops and bottoms. I've been getting great inspiration from Washington and hope you love everything that is to come!
